Frozen Daiquiri

Most women absolutely adore this drink in all its shapes, varieties, and sizes while most men secretly love it. We totally agree. What’s not to love? Fruit, booze, and ice cream, all in one beautiful drink. It is probably best known with strawberries as this is the variety it is most seen in, but you can make it with almost any fruit you like. Mango, pineapple, or banana, whatever floats your boat. Even though the fruit can be overpowering and is the main flavour in the drink, it is not insignificant which rum you use. The rum helps add depth to a cocktail that could otherwise be sweet on sweet. The rum helps balance the drink and gives it a little kick which makes it a bit more refreshing. Davidsen’s Silver Rum is perfect for this. When we make a Frozen Daiquiri, we mostly use strawberries, and we use this recipe:

  1. Blend all ingredients to an even consistency

The amount of ice needed to reach your preferred texture may vary depending on the fruit in question. You will of course change the syrup and sorbet based on the fruit you want to use. Fruit syrups can be bought in many different supermarkets and liquor stores, but they can be fairly expensive, and especially if you want many different varieties.
